"Every Rose Has It's Thorn" by Poison

Bill and Ted had to think fast. The man in the white hat demanded to know the answer to the question, “What’s the meaning of life”? After what would be maximum expelled brain-energy for them, the dudes poetically recited the chorus to the tune. Great moment, but I don’t remember if Saint Peter actually let the boys go past the pearly gates
I slow-danced to this one many times at Reflections. It was late ’88 and the “hair-ballad” was king. Guns ‘N Roses made rock more macho, but along with the tattoos and 5 o’clock shadows, there was still quite a bit of makeup for Poison. This look helped them continue to appeal to their target-audience: shirt-lifting girls on the shoulders of their boyfriends.
Sorry, but now I have to be a myth-buster: A quick trip to Google reveals a few variety of roses that are in-fact (gasp) thorn-less! On some Alaskan nights there is never a dawn. Finally, a quick survey of real cattle-driving cowboys uncovers a large percentage that dies not possess a single sad, sad, sad song.
